I shot, edited and colorgraded this short vlog for the film “Last Summer” directed by Brodrick Hodgson and Produced by Nicholas Monteiro. I was also the Gaffer on this set and I genuinely cannot wait for everyone to see the final product.

Film Emulation Reel

I was working on these clips in Davinci, trying to build LUTS for my upcoming passion project. Originally shot in S-Log3 on the Sony A7IV. These are snippets from the project.

Insomnia on a Saturday night

Shot myself and edited and graded this through the night. Challenged myself to use just natural moonlight and my phone’s flash. Had to add the warning at the start because of YouTube Guidelines, it’s aesthetically sad to be honest.

About Me

Hi, I'm Tathagat; a filmmaker, photographer, and musician based in Toronto, Canada. I'm currently studying at Toronto Film School and will graduate in December 2023.

I was born in the sleepy city of Guwahati, Assam and raised in New Delhi, India. Growing up, I admired artists from various art fields like music, film and painting. Creating things has always fascinated me. I started photography at 12, which opened the door to exploring other art forms.

In 2017, I began making music and became engrossed in the making and conceptualization of music videos. Which eventually led me to film school.

I am a firm believer in VISION over EQUIPMENT and through my art, I aim to challenge and break through the norms of different art forms.
